STINA ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL DRILLING RESULTS FROM DIME PROPERTY EAST ANOMALAY

Stina Resources Ltd. has released results from three additional holes drilled on the East anomaly on its 100-per-cent-owned Dime property located 67 kilometres southwest of Dawson City in the South Klondike/White Gold district. DDH-11-09, DDH-11-11 and DDH-11-12 were drilled off the same pad located on trench 15, which returned a five-metre section of 1.049 grams per tonne gold from surface sampling. The holes were collared approximately 30 metres back of the anomalous trench sample. The East anomaly is 2.5 kilometres east of the West anomaly, and was located using auger soil sampling and trenching.

Drill and assay results indicate a northwest-southeast-trending zone of gold mineralization. As with the West anomaly, mineralization is associated with silicified zones and with quartz sulphide veins in a cupola zone at the top of a mafic-poor intrusion. Mineral zones contain elevated pyrite-arsenopyrite mineralization. Drill result highlights are listed in the attached table.

DDH-11-12 intersected a quartz sulphide vein at 144 metres that returned the 5.67 g/t Au result and numerous sections of lower grades of 0.1 g/t Au to 0.5 g/t Au. Additional results from the East anomaly will be released shortly.

A rigorous quality assurance/quality control protocol has been put in place. Acme Analytical Laboratories processed core samples at facilities in Dawson and Whitehorse, Yukon. A one-kilogram split is crushed to 80 per cent passing 10 mesh. A second 250-gram split is pulverized to 85 per cent passing 200 mesh. A 30-gram silver-inquart fire assay fusion by ICP-ES methods and a 31-element ICP analysis are completed in Vancouver. Each batch of 36 samples included standards, blanks and duplicates.

CENTRAL RESOURCES CORP.: SELWYN CREEK EXPLORATION RESULTS; ROCK SAMPLES RETURN UP TO 14.15 G/T GOLD

Central Resources Corp. has released results of the 2011 surface exploration program conducted at its LLL property located in the Dawson Range gold belt of southwestern Yukon. Highlights from the program include:

  • Discovery of highly prospective rocks grading between 0.697 and 14.15 grams per tonne gold from quartz veined samples;
  • Expansion of a 2010 soil geochemical anomaly — resulting in a 1,200-by-1,000-metre area of coincident, strongly elevated gold and arsenic values;
  • Identification of three new moderately to strongly anomalous areas of gold and arsenic soil geochemistry.

In 2011, prospecting at the LLL property identified a breccia zone that lies on the western edge of a broad ridge. This zone appears to be oriented subparallel to a geological contact between quartzite and gneiss, in an area where a porphyry dike cuts both units. Geologically favourable material typically ranges from weakly silicified fault breccia to strongly silicified hydrothermal crackle breccia. Visual mineralization includes arsenopyrite, minor stibnite and alteration minerals — scorodite, limonite and jarosite. This breccia zone has never been drilled or trenched and contains no outcrops. Limited sampling of mostly grass-covered talus returned encouraging values, including 0.697 g/t, 1.125 g/t and 14.15 g/t gold.

“These results are very exciting because we have discovered significant gold mineralization in rock samples located within a large gold-arsenic soil anomaly,” said Paul Reynolds, president and chief executive officer of Central. “These rock sample results range from anomalous to 14.15 g/t gold.”

Soil sampling expanded a zone of coincident, strongly anomalous gold and arsenic soil geochemistry, which encompasses the breccia zone and covers an area 1,200 metres long and 1,000 metres wide. Values from 2011 sampling in this anomaly range from 20 to 502 parts per billion gold in soil and 100 to 810 parts per million arsenic in soil. Antimony values within this zone were weak to strongly anomalous (five to 23 ppm). Gold and arsenic soil geochemical maps are posted on the company’s website.

Three additional soil geochemical targets comprising clusters of moderately to strongly anomalous gold and arsenic values have been identified elsewhere on the property. Values within these anomalies range from 20 to 391 ppb gold and 100 to 301 ppm arsenic. No follow-up prospecting has been done in the vicinity of these anomalies. The highest soil result on the property is an isolated gold value of 1,060 ppb.

Most of the LLL property is underlain by brittle graphitic quartzite, hornblende-biotite granite gneiss and two whitehorse suite granitic plutons. Quartz-feldspar porphyry dike swarms intrude all of these units. This geological setting resembles the setting at the nearby Coffee property of Kaminak Gold Corp.

Analytical work was done by ALS Chemex with sample preparation in Whitehorse, Yukon, and assays and geochemical analyses in North Vancouver, B.C. All rock samples were initially analyzed for gold by fire assay followed by atomic absorption and 35 other elements by inductively coupled plasma — atomic emission spectroscopy. Overlimit values for gold were determined by fire assay and gravimetric finish. All soil samples were analyzed for gold by inductively coupled plasma and atomic emission spectrometry, and the multielement analysis was done by ME-ICP41.

The 2011 program was conducted by Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Ltd. under the supervision of Heather Smith, PGeo. The technical information in this release has been reviewed by Ms. Smith, PGeo, and Mr. Reynolds, PGeo, president of Central, both of whom are qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Arcus Makes New VMS Discovery in Yukon White Gold District Drills 14.15 Metres of 1.44% Cu, 16.5 G/T Ag and 0.77 G/T Au

Arcus Development Group Inc. (“Arcus”) is pleased to announce the discovery of the first significant volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system in the White Gold District of north central Yukon at its Touleary property. 2011 diamond drilling targeted a 300 by 100 m area within a 1,200 m long zone of coincident geophysical and intermittent gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies. Highlights from the five hole (935 m) drill program include:

  • High-grade copper-silver-gold-zinc mineralization grading up to 7.18% Cu, 116 g/t Ag, 3.55 g/t Au and 4.30% Zn across 2.25 m;
  • Near surface intersections starting at 64.21 m;
  • Excellent lateral continuity within the initial 300 m area drill tested; and
  • Onsite road access.

The Dawson area, including the White Gold District is underlain by rocks of the Yukon Tanana Terrane and is considered highly favorable for VMS style mineralization. A cluster of VMS deposits in the Finlayson District, 450 km to the southeast are hosted in the same Yukon Tanana Terrane stratigraphy. Certain parts of the Dawson area and the Finlayson District are believed to have been linked as part of a concurrent back-arc/basinal environment prior to displacement along the Tintina Fault.

The most notable deposit in the Finlayson District is Yukon Zinc Corporation’s Wolverine Deposit where a NI 43-101 measured and indicated mineral resource is reported at 4.46 Mt grading 12.14% zinc, 354.8 g/t silver, 1.16% copper, 1.70 g/t gold and 1.58% lead (Yukon Zinc Corporation Technical Report, 2007).

“Exploration activity in the Dawson area, including the White Gold District in the early 1990’s was largely directed toward VMS potential in response to the discovery of various VMS deposits in age equivalent rocks in the Finlayson District”, stated Ian Talbot, the Arcus President. “The Touleary discovery represents the first significant VMS mineralization reported in the White Gold District. Having only drilled 25% of the 1,200 m trend of coincident geophysical and geochemical anomalies, the exploration potential at the Touleary property remains largely untested”.

Arcus is currently completing a 740 line km close spaced airborne Vertical Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) survey at the Touleary property to identify areas of high chargeability that may represent thicker accumulations of massive sulphide along the current mineralized trend.

Host rocks at Touleary are pervasively sericitized fine tuffaceous felsic-to-intermediate volcaniclastic units with narrow intervals of weakly preserved fragmental textures. These rocks coincide with a laterally continuous linear magnetic low feature identified by a detail airborne magnetic survey completed by Arcus in the spring of 2011. This feature, although structurally offset at a number of locations, can be traced along strike from the discovery for a distance in excess of 5 km.

Sulphide mineralization within the volcaniclastic horizon(s) is dominantly pyrite and occurs as moderate to heavily disseminated concentrations and rarer semi-massive to massive bands. Much of the mineralization is coarsely recrystallized and remains roughly parallel to foliation but evidence of primary finely laminated textures has largely been destroyed. Copper mineralization is present as chalcopyrite and rarer covellite. These sulphides preferentially occur in the middle to lower portion of the felsic volcaniclaistic intervals as fine foliaform wisps, clots and aggregates plus coarsely recrystallized masses believed to be strain induced near the apex of folds.

Dan Man Update

The 2011 diamond drilling and auger soil sampling programs on the Dan Man property were completed in late August. The Dan Man property is located immediately north of Kaminak Gold Corporation’s Coffee property. The 10 hole (1,500 m) drill program was designed to test four separate structural zones along a 2.5 km portion of the property. Results will be reported once all assays have been received and interpreted.

QA/QC
Samples were forwarded to ALS Minerals in Whitehorse, Y.T. where they were fine crushed before a 250 gram split was pulverized to better than 85% passing 75 microns. Pulps were then analyzed at ALS Minerals in North Vancouver, B.C. where splits of the pulverized fraction were dissolved in aqua regia and analyzed for 35 elements using inductively coupled plasma (ICP) together with atomic emission spectroscopy (AES). Over limit analyses for specific elements were further analysed to completion using the OG 46 method. Gold analyses were by the Au-AA24 procedure that involves fire assay preparation using a 50 gram charge with an atomic absorption spectroscopy finish.

Rigorous procedures are in place regarding sample collection, chain of custody and data entry. Certified assay standards, duplicate samples and blanks are routinely inserted into the sample stream to ensure integrity of the assay process.

NORTHERN TIGER RESOURCES REPORTS ASSAY RESULTS AT 3ACE PROPERTY, YUKON INTERSECTS 3.75 G/T OVER 13.2 METRES AND 13.81 G/T OVER 2.4 METRES

Northern Tiger Resources Inc. has now received assays for four diamond drill holes at the 3Ace property in the southeast Yukon. Assays are pending for an additional 18 holes and two drills are still turning on the property. These initial assay results confirm that the high-grade Main zone continues to depth and has a minimum strike length of 160 metres. It is open along strike in both directions and down dip.

“This is the first significant drill program at 3Ace, and we are very pleased with the continuity of the Main zone observed to date,” says Greg Hayes, president of Northern Tiger. “A strong nugget effect is inherent in high-grade vein systems, so assay grades are expected to be highly variable. In this type of system, it is very encouraging to see the zone has continuity and to have consistently hit gold mineralization. Work to date has reinforced management’s belief that 3Ace represents a significant new gold system with potential to host multiple deposits.”

Hole 3A-11-10a is a 38-metre step back from previously reported 3A-10-02 (dip, minus-55 degrees; azimuth, 270 degrees), which assayed 14.8 grams per tonne gold over 10.9 metres, starting at 24.6 metres (see news release dated Nov. 4, 2010). The gold intercept in hole 3A-11-10a is part of a larger 29.4-metre zone of arsenopyrite mineralization (weighted average of 1,526 parts per million arsenic).

Hole 3A-11-11 is a 28-metre step back from previously reported 3A-10-01 (dip, minus-55 degrees; azimuth, 270 degrees), which assayed 4.3 grams per tonne gold over 30.3 metres, starting at 49.1 metres (see news release dated Nov. 4, 2010). Visible gold was observed in hole 3A-11-11 at 82-metre depth (assaying 10.5 g/t over 2.4 metres). Visible gold was also observed at a depth of 128 metres, but sampling did not produce a significant gold assay.

Hole 3A-11-12 is a 25-metre step out to the north of hole 3A-10-01. Although the mineralized zone is relatively narrow in this hole, visual indications of mineralization from hole 3A-11-15a (a 31-metre step back from 3A-11-12) suggest the mineralized zone expands at depth. Assays are pending for 3A-11-15a.

Hole 3A-11-14 is collared 75 metres north of hole 3A-11-12 and is the most northerly hole drilled in the Main zone — 160 metres north of the discovery outcrop. The drilling intersected three distinct zones of gold mineralization.

Geology

The 3Ace property is underlain by coarse-grained quartz pebble conglomerate (QPC) interbedded with sandstone and black shale beds. Three distinct phases of folding and faulting have been identified on the 3Ace property. Although these structural systems predate gold mineralization at 3Ace, they have provided important ground preparation and can act as pathways for mineralization. Gold mineralization at the Main zone is hosted by steeply dipping veins which form an en echelon array of fault segments that are linked by stockwork veins and breccia zones.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by Dennis Ouellette, BSc, PGeol, a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101. All rock and drill core samples were analyzed by Inspectorate America Corp. of Richmond, B.C., using 50-gram fire assay and 50-element, four-acid ICP analysis. Soil and silt samples were also analyzed by Inspectorate, using 30-gram fire assay analysis. When visible gold is noted in drill core samples or regular fire assay values appear abnormally high, the pulp and screen metallic assay method is used to determine the total gold content and gold contents of different-size fractions. This is considered industry best practice when dealing with coarse gold mineralization where a nugget effect is suspected. This determination is accepted as the most representative value and is used in the assay database.

PACIFIC RIDGE PROVIDES EXPLORATION UPDATE FROM THE MARIPOSA GOLD PROPERTY

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd., during exploration at the Mariposa property, located within the Yukon’s White Gold district, has completed 34 drill holes for a total of 5,350 metres drilled so far this season. Receipt of assay results has seen delays due to high volume and continuous sample submittals as a result of increased exploration activity in the Yukon.

The objective of the 2011 drilling program is planned around completion of approximately 6,000 metres of diamond core drilling to test five gold exploration targets located within an approximate 26-square-kilometre area of the overall 262-square-kilometre Mariposa property.

The following exploration targets currently defined within the Mariposa property have seen preliminary drilling: Skookum Main — 18 holes, Skookum West — seven holes, Hackly — two holes, Gertie — three holes and Maisy-May — four holes. The Big Alex target will be drill tested next season.

Drilling is currently focused on the Skookum West area of the 3.5-kilometre-long Skookum Jim gold-in-soil trend where recent surface exploration has generated new drill targets over a two-square-kilometre area. This area lies approximately 1.5 kilometres to the southwest of the Skookum Main area, where this year’s drilling has reported results of up to 2.44 grams per tonne gold over 38.9 metres.

The Skookum Jim trend is centred along an east-northeast-trending plateau which coincides with a structural corridor that is clearly defined by disruptions and offsets of linear airborne magnetic features. The Skookum Main area lies to the north of the most prominent of these structural breaks, whereas the Skookum West straddles this break at a location where an array of northwest-, northeast- and north-south-trending structures appear to be crosscutting the main east-northeast-trending structure. Elsewhere in the White Gold district, similar structural settings are of key importance for the hosting of gold mineralization. It is also notable that north-trending structures in the Skookum West area are parallel to the prolific placer gold drainage of Scroggie Creek that flows to the north, through the western part of the Mariposa property.

In 2010, widely spaced soil sampling along 100-metre lines at Skookum West first detected gold-in-soil anomalism of up to 512 parts per billion gold, with locally elevated molybdenum values. During 2011, infill soil sampling at 25-metre stations further defined strong gold anomalism over a minimum 1,500-metre-by-800-metre area. Gold-in-soil results ranging from 20 parts per billion to a peak of 514 parts per billion appear to coincide with linear magnetic lows and/or flank magnetic highs. These features, interpreted as reflecting brittle structures and underlying mafic rock types, provide a geologic setting with potential to host gold mineralization.

Detailed prospecting and rock sampling of surface float has returned significant results within the Skookum West gold-in-soil anomaly. Of a total of 117 rock samples from a two-square-kilometre area, 27 returned results greater than 0.5 g/t gold, to a high of 19.98 g/t gold. The average grade of these results is 3.3 g/t gold. Again, as seen elsewhere in the White Gold camp, these elevated gold assays are hosted in well-silicified rocks cut by limonitic fracture nets and hematite-specularite alteration along with minor disseminated pyrite.

Some of the anomalous gold results were obtained from rock samples in areas with no indicated gold-in-soil response, but along structures interpreted from magnetic surveys. This suggests that the prospectivity of the Skookum West area may cover a larger area than indicated by the soil geochemical results. Continuing diamond drilling is therefore testing a combination of targets in the Skookum West area that include structural trends and soil and rock geochemical signatures.

It is contemplated that the drilling season will come to a close in mid-September with approximately 40 holes completed.

STINA ANNOUNCES DIME EXPLORATION UPDATE AND TRENCH RESULTS

Stina Resources Ltd. has provided an update on the continuing 2011 exploration work on its Dime property in the South Klondike/White Gold district.

Drilling update

Drilling is under way and holes DDH-11-6 through DDH-11-08 have been completed for a total of 560 metres drilled to date. These holes intersected the same lithology as holes DDH-10-03 and 10-04, including silicified and pyritized vein breccias and strongly silicified and pyrite- and arsenopyrite-bearing silicified zones. Drill core is now being processed.

Trenching results

Results from trench sampling completed in July (313 five-metre-long continuous trench samples) were collected from 13 trenches over 1,565 metres total length and 35 additional samples were collected from 35-by-one-metre-deep pits. Samples consist of a representative sample of bedrock and colluviums weighing, on average, six pounds per sample. This has proven to be a very effective method of identifying areas for additional surface work or drilling in the South Klondike/White Gold district.

Trenches 10 and 15 are located on the east anomaly and trench 26 is on the central anomaly.

Air magnetic survey results

Final airborne magnetic and total count radiometric survey data have been received from Precision GeoSurveys Inc. The total field magnetic data clearly show two parallel and very strong linear seven-kilometre-long northwest-southeast-trending magnetic low anomalies that are both offset a distance of one kilometre along a left lateral zone trending 70 degrees. Stina is still waiting to receive uranium, potassium and thorium maps from Precision. Total count radiometric has been provided, and those data also reflect the prominent northwest-southeast structures obvious in the magnetic data. Once the final data for uranium, potassium and thorium are received, Stina will report it in a subsequent news release.

This northwest-southeast structural trend, along with second and third order east-west and northeast-southwest trends, is important in the South Klondike/White Gold district. All major soil anomalies in this region are located proximal to the 70-degree offset of the northwest-southeast-trending magnetic low.

The west, central and eastern soil anomalies are all located adjacent to the left lateral offset, are within magnetic highs adjacent to the left lateral offset and are part of a 4.5-kilometre soil system identified in 2010.

The initial drill holes DDH-11-06 to DDH-11-06-08 were collared on the western anomaly at the site where DDH-10-03 and DDH-10-04 were collared in 2010. DDH-11-06 was a steeper cut on the zone located in 2010 that returned the following results last season.

Additional drill holes will be based on results of the 2011 trench sampling, soil sampling, and airborne magnetic and radiometric survey data. Initial drill results expected in September. The company expects to drill 15 to 20 core holes on Dime in 2011.

KAMINAK DRILLS 74.9 G/T AU OVER 4M AT DOUBLE DOUBLE: HIGH-GRADE GOLD ZONE OPEN ALONG TREND AND DEPTH

Kaminak Gold Corp. has released assay results from 11 diamond drill holes from the Double Double zone, located on the company’s 150,000-acre Coffee gold property, Yukon. The Double Double zone represents one of nine gold targets to be drilled in 2011 by Kaminak as part of its ongoing 40,000m drill program. Each of these zones begin at surface and remain open along trend and at depth.

Drill Results

The Double Double gold zone was discovered in 2010 by drilling beneath a linear gold-in-soil trend that extends for at least 1km along a west to northwest trend which is also co-incident with a magnetic lineament traceable for several more kilometers, suggesting the gold-bearing structures at Double Double extend for several kilometers and possibly link with the Latte gold zones located 800m west. A total of 11 diamond drill holes were completed along a 200m long portion of the gold-in-soil anomaly in order to follow-up drill results from 2010 that included: 6.35 g/t Au over 35m (starting at 139m core depth) from hole CFD-27 and 15.9 g/t Au over 5m (starting at 213m core length) from hole CFD-28 (see Kaminak news releases dated August 11th, 2010 and August 24th, 2010). Complete assay sheets, plan maps and cross-sections of the 2011 drilling are now available on the Kaminak website.

Drill hole CFD-90 yielded an ultra-high-grade intercept between 105m and 109m down-hole (refer to table 1 below). An original 30g fire assay of 1/2 cut core yielded a weighted average of 69.6 g/t Au over 4m with individual assays yielding 105.5 g/t Au (105-106m), 106 g/t Au (106-107m), 62.7 g/t Au (107-108m) and 4.14 g/t Au (108-109m). In order to validate these results, an additional 1kg sample of this material was taken and screened through a 100 micron mesh and analyzed by fire assay. A third fire assay was completed by screening a 1kg sample obtained by re-cutting the remaining drill core stored on site (1/4 core sampling). Results of both screen assays yielded consistent and repeatable results averaging 74.9 g/t Au over 4m with assays averaging 120.25 g/t Au (105-106m), 98.7 g/t Au (106-107m), 76.4 g/t Au (107-108m) and 4.24 g/t Au (108-109m). Coarse gold (greater than 100 micron) accounted for only 4-7% in all samples suggesting minimal nugget effect.

Ultra-high-grade samples in drill hole CFD090 are characterized by increased breccia and intensely silicified material with no recognizable host rock. Silicified host material is overprinted by (micro) breccia as well as chalcedonic silica vein networks. Sericite is low in the samples, as the overwhelming alteration is silica; minor scorodite, fuchsite and leucoxene. The sulphide content is not unusually high for Coffee gold environments, thus the addition of silica appears to be more important to the increased gold tenor. Results suggest gold is hosted in a number of near-vertical to steep north-dipping zones traceable within the broader regional magnetic lineament and gold-in-soil anomaly. These high-grade gold zones are typically meter-scale in width and are recognized mainly by increased levels of hydrothermal alteration. The most consistent and traceable structure defined to date is informally known as the “North Trend” and is noted on all cross-sections drilled. For example, drilling on section 5125E intercepted the North Trend in holes CFD-88 (25.4 g/t Au over 2m) and CFD-90 (74.9 g/t Au over 4m). Moreover, section 5275E cut the North Trend in hole CFD-93 (8.23 g/t Au over 3m) and hole CFD-98 (4.32 g/t Au over 4m) and section 5075E drilled through the North Trend in hole CFD-101 (14.35 g/t Au over 2m) and hole CFD-104 (56.4 g/t Au over 1m). Deeper drilling at Double Double uncovered several parallel zones to the North Trend, including the “Central Trend”; however, since the focus of the drilling was on defining the North Trend, little is known about these deeper zones. Collectively, these observations re-affirm the high-grade and continuous nature of gold within the Double Double zone and also illustrate the importance of tracing high-angle structural corridors.

Drill Update

Over 28,000m of drilling has now been completed on the Coffee property during the 2011 season and the Company is on schedule to complete the 40,000m program as initially outlined in the spring of 2011. Three diamond drills and one reverse circulation drill (RC) are currently active on the property. Assays from Latte (50 diamond holes), Supremo (31 RC holes), and Kona (28 RC holes) are currently pending and initial results from Supremo and Latte are expected in the coming weeks. Two drills are currently operating on the Kona zone (1 diamond drill and 1 RC drill) and one diamond drill is located on Latte and Connector zones respectively.

Kaminak is also pleased to report it has begun construction of a 15km long gravel road that will connect the Coffee Camp and airstrip to the main drill areas of Latte, Connector, Double Double and Supremo. The road is expected to be completed by the end of Q3 of 2011 and will allow the Company to extend future drill seasons and reduce aircraft costs. Summer barge season is in full-swing and heavy equipment (bulldozer, loader and dump truck) have been mobilized to site in order to facilitate road construction. Three bulk fuel tanks (75,000 liter capacity each) are also on site and are currently being installed.

ETHOS IDENTIFIES NEW MASCOT CREEK GOLD SOIL ANOMALY NEAR THE COFFEE FAULT, BETTY PROPERTY,WHITE GOLD DISTRICT, YUKON

Ethos Capital Corp. has gold analyses from soil samples up to 277 parts per billion gold. It also has provided an update on the continuing exploration at the Betty property located southeast along strike of Kaminak Gold Corporation’s Coffee discovery in the White Gold district, west-central Yukon Territory, Canada, and just one of the five properties that Ethos owns in the area.

Ethos is currently exploring 4,963 claims covering an area of 1,038 square kilometres in the emerging White Gold district. Ethos’s Betty property, comprising 730 claims covering 152 square kilometres, is situated immediately east of Kaminak’s Coffee property. Gold mineralization at Kaminak’s flagship Coffee property is associated with a regional-scale structural corridor termed the Coffee fault. The Coffee fault is defined by a pronounced east-west-trending topographic and magnetic lineament that transects Ethos’s Betty property. The Coffee fault and subordinate structures are the focus of Ethos’s Betty property exploration program.

A total of 3,875 reconnaissance ridge-and-spur soil samples representing 194 line kilometres of soil data have been collected. Results have now been received for 2,354 samples representing 60 per cent of the total collected at the Betty property. Remaining samples have been delivered to the analytical lab for processing.

A previously reported ridge-and-spur soil result of 597 parts per billion gold (see July 12, 2011, news release) led to the discovery of 2.1 grams per tonne gold in rock at the Buck zone (see July 25, 2011, news release). At present, the Buck zone is defined by trenching to occupy a 250-metre-by-250-metre area of alteration, as described in more detail below. The nearest adjacent ridge-and-spur soil lines are 700 metres away, also with anomalous gold and arsenic geochemistry.

Numerous other gold anomalous soil sites have now been identified. These are all in the process of being field-checked. A gold-in-soil map of results received to date has been posted on the company’s website.

New Mascot Creek soil anomaly

New results reveal significant gold-anomalous soils in the area of Mascot Creek located south of the main Coffee fault. A line of reconnaissance ridge-and-spur soils collected at 50-metre intervals above the west bank along Mascot Creek returned a continuous gold-in-soil anomaly above 10 ppb gold that is 2,500 metres long, then a 650-metre interval gap not anomalous, then an additional 650-metre-long gold-in-soil anomaly. The entire soil line ranges in value from 10 ppb, with the numeric average of 34 ppb gold, and with multiple sites above 100 ppb gold to a maximum of 277 ppb Au. Soil values above 14 ppb Au are statistically anomalous above the 95th percentile for Ethos’s soil sample database. These gold-anomalous sites are also uniformly highly anomalous in arsenic with many values above 250 ppm and six values between 505 ppm to 1,611 ppm As. These Au and As values are consistent with results reported by Kaminak from soils in proximity to gold-mineralized zones.

A second line of reconnaissance ridge-and-spur soils was collected at 50-metre intervals along the ridge top 900 metres west of the line in Mascot Creek with similar results. There is a 1,400-metre-long gold-in-soil anomaly above 10 ppb, then a 500-metre interval gap not anomalous, then an additional 450-metre-long gold-in-soil anomaly. The anomalous values begin at 10 ppb and reach a maximum of 134 ppb Au along this line, with a numeric average of 34 ppb Au. These gold-anomalous sites are also uniformly anomalous in arsenic with several values above 250 ppm As and one value of 501 ppm As.

Samples from adjacent soil lines which would help refine the geographic extent of this anomalous area are still in the lab with analytical results pending.

The Mascot Creek area is now a priority area for follow-up. Prospecting surveys have begun. Trenching of the anomalous gold-in-soil line along the ridge top is planned as soon as the backhoe completes Buck zone trenching. An additional 1,000 soil samples from a follow-up detailed soil grid are planned for collection to expand the soil coverage; this program should begin shortly.

Airborne surveying

A total of 2,406 line kilometres of magnetic and radiometric surveying of the Betty property has been completed, and preliminary results are in hand. The magnetic survey clearly images the first-order Coffee fault as well as many additional second- and tertiary-order structures. The Buck zone is shown to be an area of intersecting east-west and north-south magnetic linears interpreted as faults. The Mascot Creek area gold-anomalous soils are also associated with strong magnetic linears.

Buck zone trenching

The company has completed 1,500 metres of trenching at the Buck zone gold discovery in the immediate area of the 2.1-gram-per-tonne-gold sample site. The trenches cover approximately a 250-square-metre area and are spaced 50 metres apart. The area is confirmed to have abundant silicification, quartz veining, iron oxidation and locally relict arsenopyrite and pyrite. Prospecting the immediate area has uncovered an outcrop containing boulangerite (antimony-arsenic sulphide), stibnite (antimony sulphide) and arsenopyrite (arsenic sulphide) approximately 600 metres south of the Buck zone. The outcrop is along a north-south structure interpreted from the magnetic data extending from the Buck zone. Photographs of rock samples and trenching are available on the company’s website.

A total of 298 rock samples have been collected from the Betty property predominantly from the Buck zone trenches and the antimony-arsenic-bearing outcrop. All rock samples have been submitted as a rush order to the analytical lab.

Peter Tallman, PGeo, chief operating officer of Ethos, states, “The recognition of antimony and arsenical sulphides associated with gold mineralization and strong alteration adjacent to the Coffee fault, combined with the general level of oxidation of the host rocks, continues to compare favourably with extremely similar early results obtained by Kaminak Gold Corp., our neighbour to the west.”

Gary Freeman, chief executive officer and president of Ethos, states, “We continue to work diligently and methodically in investigating the many new gold target areas which continue to come to light and we are excited by the preliminary indications received to date.”

A comprehensive quality assurance/quality control program is in place to monitor precision and accuracy of the assay results. All soil samples are submitted with certified reference materials. Soil sample duplicates are routinely collected, and pulp duplicates are obtained for all soil samples. Ridge-and-spur soil samples are analyzed by Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. A 15-gram subsample of soil material is ignited, acid digested, and gold determined by ICP-MS; a 0.5-gram subsample undergoes aqua regia digestion with ICP-MS analysis for 36 reporting elements including arsenic. Analytical QA/QC programs monitoring the precision and accuracy of results includes the routine use of assaying sample duplicates, certified reference standard(s); and both assay and prep wash blanks. Acme is ISO 9001-certified.

Stina to start drilling on Dime property next week, Yukon

Diamond drilling on Stina Resources Ltd.’s Dime gold property in the Yukon Ten Mile Creek region is expected to start next week. Kluane Drilling has been contracted for the drilling.

The company will issue an exploration update news release next week with further information.

NORTHERN TIGER RESOURCES REPURCHASES BACK-IN RIGHTS ON SONORA GULCH PROPERTY, YUKON

Northern Tiger Resources Inc. has reached an agreement with Capstone Mining Corp.’s wholly owned subsidiary, into Explorations Ltd., to extinguish the back-in rights MintoEx holds on the Sonora Gulch property.”

With a nine square kilometre gold-in-soil anomaly, multiple gold intercepts in drill holes and a recent independent NI 43-101 Report recommending 16,400 metres of drilling, we believe that Sonora Gulch has significant exploration potential for intrusion related gold mineralization and porphyry copper-gold,” says Greg Hayes, President of Northern Tiger. “This transaction with MintoEx eliminates any uncertainty as to the future ownership of Sonora Gulch and unencumbers this key asset for future business opportunities or development.”

When Northern Tiger was formed in 2008 it acquired five Dawson Range properties from MintoEx that covered copper mineralization and exploration targets thought to be similar to those found at Capstone’s Minto Mine. At that time Northern Tiger and MintoEx entered into a Regional Exploration Alliance Agreement and MintoEx was granted certain back-in rights to Northern Tiger properties within a 50 kilometre radius of the Minto Mill. Now, at the request of Northern Tiger, and in order to unencumber the Sonora Gulch property, MintoEx has agreed to sell the its back-in rights in that property in consideration of $200,000. Northern Tiger shall satisfy this payment through the issuance of 421,052 common shares at a deemed issuance price of $0.475 per common share. The Regional Exploration Alliance remains intact, and MintoEx retains their back-in rights on other projects within 50 kilometres of the Minto Mill. The transaction is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
