Posted by Admin in Field Work, News Releases on September 21st, 2009
Habanero Resources Inc. has commenced work on its 100-per-cent-owned Yukon gold prospect. Habanero has hired Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. to oversee the program. Habanero has over 18,000 acres in the region of the White and Yukon Rivers with approximately 13,000 contiguous acres bordering Underworld Resources. Underworld announced significant results returning grades of 3.94 grams per tonne gold over 59.9 metres and 3.59 grams per tonne gold over 98.3 metres.
Jason Gigliotti, president of Habanero Resources, stated: “This is the first work program that Habanero has been involved with in more than two years. It is exciting to get under way on this gold prospect at a time of near all-time-high gold prices. Not only is a work program on our Yukon gold prospect now under way, but we have also been very actively acquiring approximately 650,000 contiguous acres of land prospective for lithium.”

These new claims border the recently announced discovery by Underworld Resources that stated significant results returning grades of 3.94 grams per tonne gold over 59.9 metres and 3.59 grams per tonne gold over 98.3 metres. Including these additional claims, Habanero now has staked 350 claims totalling approximately 18,000 acres. Management is planning to mobilize crews to start a detailed work program on these blocks in the near future. Habanero Claims
Jason Gigliotti, president of Habanero Resources, stated: “This new block of claims is a significant addition to Habanero’s landholdings in the Yukon. We have increased our land position by 250 per cent and this new property is strategically located as it borders the property hosting the recent discovery made by Underworld Resources. Management feels that this area may become a new mining district and believes that having a significant land position may add to potential future growth of the company.”

HABANERO ACQUIRES TWO BLOCKS OF CLAIMS IN THE YUKON
Posted by Admin in News Releases, Property Acquisitions on June 22nd, 2009
Habanero Resources Inc. (”Habanero”) (TSX VENTURE:HAO)(PINK SHEETS:HBNRF)(FRANKFURT:HRJ) wishes to announce that it has been notified that 100 quartz claims to date have been registered in Habanero’s name. These specific claims consist of two separate contiguous blocks in Stewart River Area of the Yukon. These claims are in close proximity to the recently announced discovery (May 27, 2009) by Underworld Resources Inc. that stated significant results returning grades of 3.94 g/t Au over 59.9 and 3.59 g/t Au over 98.3 metres. These two blocks consist of approximately 5,200 acres, with one contiguous block consisting of 56 claims and the other contiguous block consisting of 44 claims. Management is planning to mobilize crews to start a detailed work program on these blocks in the near future. Management also anticipates the number of claims secured to date to increase in the future.
Mr. Laurence Stephenson, PEng, “Based on the natural resources map of Canada by Gordey and Ryan, the land Habanero has secured displays similar geological characteristics as the Underworld Resources Inc. discovery that only occur in a few locations displayed on the map.”
Jason Gigliotti, President of Habanero Resources stated, “Management moved quickly on this potential prospect as Underworld’s recent discovery has created significant interest in the mining community. By moving quickly, Habanero has secured one of, if not the single largest land package in the area next to Underworld Resources Inc. We also plan to initiate a work program as soon as possible. Additionally, management is optimistic that additional claims will be secured in the future.”
This release has been reviewed by Laurence Stephenson, PEng, the designated qualified person as defined by NI 43-101.
